WHO IS AMERICAN ROXIE?
Meet Roxie Robinson
Roxie Robinson is a cheerful seven-year-old from Libertyville, with bright red hair, big feelings, and an even bigger love for her country.
Through her adventures, Roxie helps young readers discover the importance of friendship, helping others, community, history, and pride in the place they call home.

The mother-and-daughter team behind American Roxie, bringing together storytelling, imagination, and a shared love for community, education, and America’s future.
Mona Larson
Carmita “Mona” Larson is a Colombian-American wife, mother, and lifelong believer in the promise of the American dream. Through American Roxie, she hopes to inspire children with stories centered around kindness, community, curiosity, and pride in the place they call home.
Helen-Marie Larson
Helen-Marie Larson is an illustrator and creative storyteller whose passion for art, imagination, and children’s education helped bring American Roxie to life. Through expressive characters and heartfelt storytelling, she hopes to create stories that inspire creativity, confidence, and connection for young readers.
